How to care for your enamel pins

It's common for the metal to tarnish over time; wiping it lightly with a microfiber cloth can get most of the surface tarnish off.

Using metal polish and a soft cloth can remove the more stubborn tarnish. Make sure you match the metal type, gold polish for gold metal and silver polish for silver metal. Please test it on the back of the pin first; some polishes can remove the metal colour if they are too abrasive.

To keep pins vibrant, try and keep them out of direct sunlight for long periods and avoid contact with harsh chemicals/solvents.

While every pin has been checked for imperfections, light scratches can be visible in the metal up close due to the polishing process. It is more common in copper/rose gold plated pins or larger metal areas.
